Celebrating 20 Years!
This year, IDW celebrates 20 years in Ohio. Keith Kroehler started the window cleaning company in the late 1980s in Minnesota where he was born and raised in the agricultural industry. In 1992, he and his wife , Lisa, moved to her home city of Lima, Ohio where it was a “little warmer.” In 1996, Lisa left her career in television journalism/ marketing and joined her husband in expanding I DO WINDOWS! LLC. After many years of hard work, the company now employs several window cleaners and services clients across Ohio and the greater Fort Wayne area.
IDW clients include corporate centers, financial institutions, hospitals, universities, government buildings and retail establishments. Janitorial firms also subcontract with IDW to service their commercial clients. Building contractors hire IDW for new construction clean up of windows and frames. The company’s expertise includes high rise, man lifts, deionized water-fed pole system and ladder work. IDW employees are professionally trained, following OSHA and ANSI guidelines for safety as well as regularly undergoing company safety training.
Residential window cleaning has always been important to IDW. Our employees are hard working, trustworthy and dedicated. Our residential clients, many of whom we have been serving for years, constantly rave about our employees’ level of professionalism and workmanship. We also offer pressure washing, gutter cleaning, light fixture cleaning and high dusting services. New to 2011 was Roof Cleaning . Many houses have black streaks on the roof which is actually a form of algae. The algae spreads and can cause deterioration to your roof’s shingles over time. IDW has an environmentally safe process to remove the black stains and make your roof look like new again.
In 2006, IDW was honored by the Lima/Allen County Chamber of Commerce as “Woman Owned Business of the Year.” The company is a member in good standing with the International Window Cleaning Association.
IDW looks forward to the opportunity to serve you for the next 20 years!
Keith and Lisa Kroehler
